Welcome to St. Michael Unionville, PA

Watch our music video below and see for yourself.

St. Mike’s Youth is here for just one thing — YOU!  From our Sunday evening Youth Group to our community activities to our Confirmation program and our annual Mission Trip, everything comes down to YOU ... and helping you become the kind of amazingly awesome person God has in store for you to be.

Whether you’re in 6th grade or about ready to head off to college, there is always something fun going on around here. And while we are all about the serious stuff, we have a pretty good time along the way. Our Youth Calendar is always packed full of exciting activities every month — lock-ins & games, concerts & retreats, community service days and trips — you name it! The truth is, we think you’re awesome and just really want to hang out with you.

Regardless of who you are and whether you’ve been here before, you are ALWAYS welcome at St. Mike's!

St. Michael surrounds the youth of our community with a fun, respectful environment where they can lay the foundation for a lifetime of faith and know that they belong.

Being a teenager can be a crazy time!
It can also be a time when teens face tough questions about who they are, what they stand for, and who they are going to become. That’s where we come in.

We’re here to provide teens with a place where they can speak their mind, wrestle with those questions and — with our support — decide what kind of people they will grow up to be.

Confirmation
All Youth in Grades 7-8 are invited to take part in our two-year Confirmation program.  Confirmation, also known as Affirmation of Baptism, is an important step in the faith life of a teenager. During Confirmation we explore the fullness of what it means to be a Christian in an insightful and meaningful way.  Students work together in large and small groups to learn about the Christian faith, build relationships with one another, and serve the local community.

Confirmation is not just about learning what Christians are supposed to believe, but embodying this faith in action in our real, everyday lives.  Confirmation meets every other Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Middle School Youth Group
Youth in Grades 7-8 aren't limited to learning about faith through our Confirmation program, but are invited to join in a number of Youth Group events and activities, both alongside our High School Youth Group teens and on their own.  These activities range from serving together in local mission projects to traveling together for a rousing day of Laser Tag. The common theme? Fun, rowdy, good times for everyone who joins us!

We also offer a weekly Sunday Morning Breakfast Club at 9:15 a.m. for the Middle School age group to discuss a variety of real-life faith issues and themes.

High School Youth Group
High School teens at St. Michael find a great variety of ways to be involved, but the one thread tying it all together is our Sunday Evening High School Youth Group. Meeting every other week from 6:00-8:00 p.m., our High School Youth Group plans and participates in a number of activities, including retreats, lock-ins, service projects, and more.

Some of our biggest events are our annual 30-Hour Famine in the winter and our Youth Mission Trip each summer. Most of the time, however, we keep busy going bowling, climbing, or finding something fun to do around town. It's always a great time and we always learn a little something while we're at it.

For our High School group, we also offer a weekly Sunday Morning Coffee Shop at 9:15 a.m., where teens can share their faith and lives with one another over food and good conversation.

Children's Choir
The St. Michael “Children's Choir “ is for eager young singers, second through fifth grade. The choir meets on Tuesday afternoon from 5:00-5:50 PM., performs one Sunday a month at the 10:30 a.m. service and on other special occasions. First graders are invited to join in January after they have had a few months getting used to classroom learning. The children sing, play chimes, work with rhythm instruments, and learn how to be worship leaders. Come learn to use special instruments and songs as we employ creative ways to praise God in Sunday worship!

Youth Ring and Sing Choir
Our "Youth Ring & Sing Choir" meets on Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 6:50 PM. This choir is for sixth through twelfth graders. The choir sings and/or rings for worship throughout the year and takes part in a spring musical.
